Der verrückte D.C. betreibt einen Vergnügungspark, in dem die Attraktionen und einzelnen Fahrten auf den maximalen Spaß der Besucher ausgelegt sind, auch wenn das auf Kosten der Sicherheit geht. Zudem beschäftigt er völlig ungeeignetes Personal, das unqualifiziert und bei der Arbeit nie ganz nüchtern ist. Gerade als D.C.s Tochter Boogie, die er lange nicht gesehen hat, zu Besuch kommt, macht nebenan ein todschicker, riesengroßer neuer Mega-Funpark auf und gegen den sieht D.C.s heruntergekommener Action Point halt leider verdammt alt aus. Der exzentrische Parkchef versucht daraufhin unterstützt von einer Gruppe ebenso durchgeknallter Freunde seinen Park zu retten, und nebenbei auch das Verhältnis zu seiner Tochter Boogie...Jules Cook, Johnny Knoxville, Johnny Knoxville, Kate Carin, Bill Gerber, John Altschuler, Derek Freda, Tim Kirkby, Andrew McCarthy, Kerry Skelton

In den USA gab es einen Freizeitpark, der einen zweifelhaften Ruf genoss, Action Park. Die Attraktionen dort galten als gefährlich, ertranken doch Menschen im Wellenbecken oder starben an ihren Verletzungen die sie sich auf der Rodelbahn zugezogen haben. Um Action Park ist ein kleiner Mythos entstanden und so wundert es nicht, dass Johnny Knoxville in einem Film mitspielt, der sich diesen Park als Vorbild genommen hat. Die Story ist dünn, doch für mich als Film- und Freizeitparkfan war der Film ein Genuss. Schräge Action mit Fahrgeschäften in abgeschwächter Jackass-Manier. Anspruch Null – Spaß groß! [Sneakfilm.de]
